This project was developed in 2023 as a technical exercise within the GameDev.tv Unity 2D Development curriculum.
It serves as a foundational study in implementing top-down vehicle physics and trigger-based interaction systems in a 2D environment.

Cargorcade is a 2D top-down driving game focused on a simple delivery gameplay loop.
The mechanics involve navigating a vehicle to collect cargo; upon collection, the vehicle's sprite color changes to provide immediate visual feedback to the player.
Delivery is completed by driving over designated customer locations.
The level design incorporates environmental modifiers, including speed boosters for increased mobility and obstacles like houses that apply a speed penalty upon collision.
